Starting January 2025 we will expand the current range of validated devices with a wide range of Garmin devices. This will open up affordable alternatives for the speedsurf community , providing a more attractive ranges of devices to choose from.
Garmin devices based on the Airoha chipset (see overview here -> https://logiqx.github.io/gps-details/devices/garmin/watches/enduro.htm ) in combination with APPRo (-> https://apps.garmin.com/apps/9567700b-6587-44be-9708-879bfc844791?tid=1) will be approved (resulting in the 'Green' doppler icon) when uploading by the auto-synchronisation from Garmin Connect to GPS-Speedsurfing.com
We still have some work to do extracting all provided additional data from the Garmin API , we expect this to be finished before the end of the year. We will also provide a step-by-step setup and configuration page including some video's how to do the setup.
We would like to thank Scott Simms for his execellent development work on the APPRo App, and lost but not least also Michael George for his continuous research and development for our community.
